Previous student work analysis (3)

One of my favorite Title Sequence from previous students is "Grey Area". There are many reasons for this.
To begin with, it is very well structured with the production company at the beginning and credits continuing.
The editing is very smooth and seamless in between different shots. The match cuts of the character running, for example, was shot very well and were edited to complement each other seamlessly.
There was also a variety of different shots used such as: long shot which allowed the audience to better understand what was going on between the two characters, over the shoulder shot which allowed us to adopt the perspective of the character and there was excellent use of a low angle point of view shot which allowed the audience to view the opposite character as powerful and intimidating therefore foreshadowing that he has the upper hand.
Furthermore, I was impressed with the use of sound in this title sequence. From the beginning there were police sires which were used to not only add effect, but also act as a clue to the audience.

The blog post that left an impression on me is from Group 28. This blog is very organised and in order which makes it easy to navigate and find the relevant post the viewer is searching for. Also, this group has made use of variety of applications to present their blog posts and tasks. This is useful as it has made their blog more engaging and interesting to explore.
Lastly, this blog is visually pleasant as the background image contrasts the plain board of posts. The group has used an image from their work which is beneficial as it hits towards the type of work on the blog to the viewers.
