Finishing off post

Last Blog post

Unfortunately Aniela was not in on the last day due to an illness, so as you can see we decided to photoshop Aniela into the image so she wasn't left out (we all apologise for the horrible photoshop). We are glad that we have finally finished our blog and that we have all went through this journey together, as well as gain various skills along the way which may not be media related such as team work skill and listening skills.

Title Sequence Rough cut 2

Title Sequence 2 Rough Cut 2

Roughtcut 2 feedback

Order of titles

Our group used the conventional order of titles by starting with the production and distribution company, followed by the director and then actors, etc.

At first we were planning on putting the title of the film at the end however, after some research we discovered that this goes against the conventions of title sequences therefore, the title is the 6th credit given.
We have our director right after the distribution and production companies and right at the end, as it is they are a household name, which attracts more audience.

Evidence of incorporating sound

Evidence of incorporating sound

Below are images of our group adding sound. The sound we are choosing to incorporate are sounds of drones, organs, atmospheric sound effects, and an audio track of Paul Washer preaching. We felt as this would go well with our title sequence as we have a lot of religious imagery in our title sequence such as the shots in the church. We chose a the audio track of Paul Washer as what he said matches with our theme as he is talking about American Christianity, therefore when the audience is watching the title sequence they should get an idea of where the setting is, in our case, the bible belt of North  America. We used drones as we felt that created a tense interior ambience to the title sequence which is what we are trying to achieve. By layering the sounds we are creating atmosphere and a dramatic effect, we have layered more towards the end of the title sequence when the shots of the church at the end appear, this is because we wanted the end to be more thrilling and suspenseful.

Setting my Smart Targets

My Smart Targets

As you can see, I have properly set my smart targets after reviewing my work. This will motivate me to reach those goals in order for them to be achieved whilst ensuring that the quality of my work is greatly boosted.

Analysis of my Strengths and Weaknesses

Analysis of my Strengths and Weaknesses

As you can see, my strengths seem to link directly to my threats. The problems and weaknesses I have in my blog posts are that I put an extreme amount of detail into most of my posts. However, when I feel that other blog posts do not require as much detail, it hinders the consistency and quality throughout my entire blog.
I have beaten one of my threats already being the fact that I feel that I do not have enough work to create a blog post on.
I have asked my teacher to provide me with more work, hence the creation of my trailer and the survey.
This post is very important as I can reflect back to this in the future in order to boost my marks in my coursework as well as have a constant remind of what to look out for when I create future blog posts.
