'Text Transcript'
The first character that will be introduced in the title sequence will be the psychopath. This is because he is the main lead playing a important role throughout the title sequence.
The second group of characters we will introduce are the victims of the psychopath being females(blonde hair, blue eyes).
The final character we will introduce in our title sequence is the second lead being the Women who escapes.
Not many social groups are represented throughout our opening sequence.
The main social group that is presented throughout the entire opening is the women that the psycho path targets. Their social group would be 'general public' or 'bystanders' however they all end up becoming the victims of the psychopath. They will be represented as unguarded,
We decided to represent our characters in ways that suited them;
For the Psychopath we decided to conform the stereotypical features that one would contain. This would include features such as a clear lack of empathy with his work. Having a crazed obsession; this being women with blonde hair and blue eyes whilst having his "reasons"- in this case his reason would be practising the bible in an extremist way killing all 'witches'.
He would have a crazed amount of self-worth and making sure that all his findings are unambiguous and exact- we will present this through the use of a murder board.
The female victims were represented in a way that suited our psychopaths motives.
They would of course have blonde hair and blue eyes as this is how our psychopath identifies these "witches".
They are going to be portrayed as weak and vulnerable conforming to the stereotypical presentation of women in movies.
The second female lead will be represented in the way where she challenges the stereotypes.
This is because she provides a challenge for our male psychopath male lead. This means that she will be presented in the way where she is intelligent, is always one step ahead and is wary of her surroundings. This will contrast well against the other female victims because our main female lead will be smart and witty. Characters like this can be seen in movies such as Lucy or Kill Bill,
