6) Audience detail(Omar):

In this blog post i will be discussing the audience detail for our film.

Core target audience?
Our core audience are men and women within the age range of 30-50's.
The reason we have decided to make this our core target audience is because after researching into target audiences on the website called you gov, we found out that movies similar to our film ranged from the same age group.
A typical audience member in our target audience would watch a lot of television. Enjoy movies that contain genres such as thriller and drama's.

Wider Target audience?
Our wider target audience would be reaching out to people who aren't in our core audience.
An example of our wider target audience would be those who aren't typically interested in our genres. Other wider target audiences would be people who do not fit in our demographic or age range, such as teenagers.
Reaching to a wider target audience is crucial as it means more people will view our product!



How will you attract them to your film?
We will not be able to have a huge significant reach to all members of our target audience because we are independent. This means that we have a limited amount of marketing tools that we can use to attract our film to these audiences.
We can attract them by:
Making social media posts and posting them to different social groups that would attract different people, this would allow us to market it to audiences of different ages.
Another method would be asking people in the street if they would like our film idea, like we did in the interviews!
