26TH NOVEMBER 2016 - FIRST DAY FILMING
On saturday, our group got together to begin filming for our title sequence, we were able to follow our production schedule as closely as possible, however we didn't have enough time to visit all the locations however during filming we were able to find other locations to film that we felt would be appropriate for our title sequence. We originally met up in finsbury park and then began to make our way to Omars home to help him collect the equipment. We felt as if it was best if omar kept the equipment as he is seen as the most careful out of our group. As we all began to make our way to crouch end, we found a appropriate location beside a park, we then began to film this as we felt that if we incorporated this into our title sequence it would make our title sequence appear more eerie and less artificial as our plan was to only film made made building such as churches.
We took mundane shots such as inside a dry cleaners, parks, diners, anything that would suggest we were in the Bible belt region in America.
We then took a break at 2 o clock to eat and have lunch, and whilst this happened we were able to look over the shots we took and create new ideas of how this would all be edited together as well as having new suggestions of wear to film.
We then began to make our way to crouch end as omar suggested it would be a good place to film as there was a modern church in this location, we took various images of me running and begins filmed as i do so (this is due to the fact i have blonde hair and the plot revolves around our antagonist hunting witches with blonde hair), we also found a large painting on one of the walls, although the painting would suggest something friendly (this painting was beside a nursery, no children were filmed) we thought that with a negative filter this would oppose the friendly message. We also found another church beside the one we were already at, we were able to filmed the stained glass, we also asked if we could film inside the church, and thankfully we were, we were able to get a large amount of footage here, luckily enough we filmed this in the evening so there was no one in the church either.
